The Challenge

Here is little bit of information about our London to Paris bike ride.


Mission

Our mission was to cycle from London to Paris in 4 days via Newhaven, Dieppe, Forges-Les-Eaux and Pontoise – that’s just over 200 miles!


When?

We completed the London to Paris bike ride challenge in September 2009 as follows:

  • London to NewHaven via Shoreham-By-Sea (Approx. 80 Miles):
    Thursday 17th September
  • Newhaven to Neufchâtel-en-Bray via Dieppe (Approx. 40 Miles):
    Friday 18th September
  • Neufchâtel-en-Bray to Pontoise (Approx. 50 Miles):
    Saturday 19th September
  • Pontoise to Paris (Approx. 40 Miles):
    Sunday 20th September

Can we get a boat across that blue bit – looks like we may need a boat or something, maybe we could turn the bike into a pedlo and go the whole hog!

Don’t worry Dave, I have powers very similar to Moses and I shall part it, using nothing but my outstretched hands and a large wooden rod
