		<description>Due to not being able to find anyone who could look after the kids we did not take part in this bike ride.  It&#039;s a shame, as we were really looking forward to it.  If you did make it to this event, then do let us know how it was and send us any photos you have.

Thanks to our good friends Sanjay and Milli taking care of the kids, we did manage to get out the day before this and complete a 19 mile trip from Rickmansworth to Apsley and back via the Grand Union Canal.  It is a beautiful route with lots of stunning scenery, and bridges and locks. Highly recommended.

Managed to increase our average speed slightly and was the furthest we&#039;ve been out on our bikes since starting out training. 

I&#039;m sure Scott will laugh at this. We did stop halfway for a lovely pizza, garlic bread and fresh smoothy.  Gotta keep the energy levels up!</description>
