I am pleased to confirm two new members of the London to Paris bike ride team. These two were crazy enough to agree to this challenge today, and my best wishes go out to you with the training!

  • Luke O’Sullivan
  • Dave Gillham

Welcome to the team guys and I look forward to trying to keep up with you both who I’m sure will fly through the 200 miles that’s between us and Paris.

Sitting here, halfway through a bottle of Sherry……… its similar to the 1st time Ed offered me the chance to partake in this little trip.

Started the training already – predominantly gym based, but 50k is 50k!!!

Really looking forward to the trip dudes – big challenge and am well up for it!

Gonna have a really sore bum once i get to Paris (slightly sorer if Scott gets his way)!!!!

Alan Bull

50km!! That is impressive. So how long did that take you to complete then?

Scott will most certainly be trailing at the back of the pack …. not because he’s slow or unfit …. nooooo …. but because he’ll taking in the sights – of the other riders that is :)

Dave Gillham

Ha! ur right, he’s just using the fact that he’s slow as an excuse.
The whole experience took me just over 120 mins – all due to the fact that the match i was watching went to extra time – il stick to watching league games now!
doing about 30 mins per day 4 days a week now and knocking out about 15-17K!
Im still gonna collapse halfway to Newhaven though!

Scott Metcalf

Now, now lads there is no need to be like this…….. .
The bullying cannot start already, there is still 3 months left….
13km in 30 mins last night…..
average of 26km per hour……
